Remembrance Sunday plans across Cornwall
MORVAL Parish’s own Remembrance Sunday ceremony takes place at the War Memorial from 10.45 am on Sunday (November 12).
And throughout Cornwall thousands of people will also pay their respects for those who fought for freedom.
Meanwhile, the Veterans’ Charity is inviting folk to make plans for next year’s displays to honour those who planned and undertook the D-Day landings.
Plus… your chance to have a voice on how social housing is allocated… a call for young people to be more involved in local democracy… travel with a £2 single bus fare until the end of the year… and a reminder that Cornwall Council’s website will be off-line during Sunday and Monday while essential maintenance work is undertaken.
