One road into Liskeard to be closed this weekend

ONE of the roads into Liskeard will be closed this weekend while the Kier Group carries out important water improvement works.

The affected stretch of Lodge Hill, Liskeard, is outside the Christmas tree farm on the road from Liskeard Railway Station to St Keyne, Duloe and Sandplace.

Diversions will be in place but Kier’s customer liaison officer Jonathan Grigg is keen to let residents know so that they can avoid heading along the route only to be turned around.

The map below shows the closed stretch (red) and the diversion route in place (blue). 

“We will be working there Saturday and Sunday during the day this weekend (8.00 am until 6.00 pm) and also on Monday evening from 7.00 pm until 11.00 pm and the diversion will be in place during those hours,” said Mr Grigg.
