County Council says heatwave to end early Tuesday morning

CORNWALL council says that the weekend’s heatwave is likely to remain until early Tuesday morning.

Its latest ‘Stay in Touch’ newsletter urges people to look out for those who may be at higher risk in the hot weather, especially older people, children, babies and those with underlying health conditions.

As well as a host of tips and advice, the newsletter also has details of forthcoming A30 road closures… another ‘Eat Well, Spend Less’ recipe… and safety tips for those planning barbecues
