NEWS FLASH - Notice of Election - Election of Parish Councillors

For more details, go to the Documents tab and see the official notice from Cornwall Council.

If you would like to find out more, go to the link below (Visit website) or, if you prefer, pick up the phone and speak to the Parish Clerk (Robert Larter - 01872 500995) who will be very happy to help you.

You need to ACT NOW! There is a strict process to follow which will include a visit to the Cornwall Council office in Liskeard (Luxstowe House). The office will be open on the 26th March, 27th March, 29th March and the 7th April. However, you will need to make an appointment as the nomination papers must be delivered in person.

You may have the following questions:

What's involved in being a Councillor?

What would my time commitment be?

Can I afford it?

What initial help will I be given?

Will I receive any form of training?

Will I receive any other support?

What can the parish council do?

and finally...

So how do I get elected?

Pick up the phone today and speak to the Parish Clerk (Robert Larter - 01872 500995) who will be very happy to answer your questions.
